NY bicycle licence

The first applies to personal bicycles. The license plate would cost $25 for the first year and $5 each year after.
The second bill would require a $50 license plate fee for commercial bikes. It would also require casualty insurance.

  1. I don't think that people should be paying extra for things with the way that our economy is. This would have been a bad idea, and I glad that they dropped it.

  2. I think that it senseless for people to have to get license plate for their bikes. I see no need for why people would have to have to be licensed to ride a bike.

  3. I agree.Im gald that the bill died.True our nations economy is horrible we are $55 trillion in debt.Personally our nation is not going to recover unless we have an entire reconstruction of the government and overall system.Money is starting to get tight if not allready.Extra taxes will just make it even worse.I feel that NYS is looking for any possible way to tax us.It will cost even more of our tax money to persue this bill and actually inforce it, if it was passed.

  4. Josh, great informational facts! I think that it is also very stupid and pointless for people that ride bicycles to have to get a license plate for it. Honestly, I highly doubt that this bill will go in affect because we are in so much debt, it would only make the economy much worse! Great job!

  5. I think that this bill stinks too because you need to pay to ride a bike that cost money in the first place so that means NO BIKE BILL. right, lets hope so
